Hubber Holiday Gifts from a not so secret Santa
67It's fun to shop!
During my many hours of web surfing, I frequently come across objects advertised on the internet that make me laugh or think of certain hub friends. Ok, just thinking of certain hub friends makes me laugh. Heck, even looking in the mirror makes me laugh. I laugh a lot.
The reason for the season is, of course, to receive as much loot as possible during the shopping frenzy that is Christmas. Just in case anyone is shopping for me, here is my wish list:
- One of those giant computer monitors - my eyes are not what they used to be.
- World peace and an end to reasons for fighting.
- Incontrovertible proof that Earth is not the only planet in the universe teeming with life.
- The magic "fountain of youth and beauty and intelligence" pill
- Pants with built in underwear.
But I digress. This hub is about holiday gifts that I would give to my favorite hubbers! I can't really afford to buy all of these gifts, so you are just going to have to settle for "virtual" gifts.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Ecstatic Kwanzaa, Happy Birthday to everyone overshadowed by Christmas (because of having a birthday in December) and Thanks to all who make my hub life exciting and fulfilling!

RealHousewife is my BFFH (Best Friend Forever Hubber) and she has offered a suggestion that we all get together for a girl's night out sort of thing, or start a Las Vegas scooter riding club called "Hell's Hubbers" (which is a wonderfully hilarious suggestion) or that we all plan for the Mayan end of the world party at Chichen Itza on 12/21/2012. She really has some great ideas, right?
Yes, I've already started planning the party, so save your hub pay for tickets to Mexico in 2012! Perhaps we should make reservations soon as the best hotels will fill up fast. More details to follow.

HILARIOUS - Rotfpp! I am so proud to be BFFH's!! You kill me - I wish you could just move here. Here is my virtual gift to you - a gigantic yacht! With a surround sound, a butler (or whatever you call them on a boat) - cute too - and 1/2 of a gorgeous tropical island (I own the other 1/2)!

Will, you deserve the honors. You spin a great story. Once upon a time, I wanted to write novels. Now, I know I don't really have the talent for it. I just get by. Sometimes that's enough. I think I would more prefer to be a hermit like 50Caliber. I'm not too fond of people in general. Some are ok, but 75% of them are not that great.
I'm here to do some of my Christmas shopping - I'm just gonna do the rest online - I need 4 more of them stun guns by request! LOL. Well now I gotta go find a hub where you got an amazon link!

I know! Lake Travis (which is big enough for a yacht) is looking more like a river right now. All of the islands that were submerged now have grass growing on them again. But there has been some rain lately. Not a lot, but some. I have hope that my creek will flow again.
You know me much too well, Lela. Who do you think gave Richard Bolles all that exquisite info for his "What Color is Your Parachute" book? Yup, yours truly. Well, maybe not all the info but lots of suggestions. Which he said he will use one day. That Dick is such a character.

I am so happy with my banana sandwich. You didn't check if I would die from the peanut butter. But it's ok - not allergic. Oh - and I already have some shorts with the underpants sewn in so I'm happy not to get that.
