Merlin Fraser is a witty and quite interesting English author. He writes mystery books. He has a whole trilogy of them!

But Merlin is not famous, well, outside of HubPages or Gloucestershire, England, that is. So I have created a store for him to market some of his fabulous books and book cover art. Sometimes merchandising is the way to go when you want to sell books.
Times are tough these days and we all have to learn to work the web. There is a new career choice just for people who want to utilize the power of the internet to market their books, art, music and other talents. It's called being a Social Marketing Manager.
So I am dipping my foot into the Social Marketing Manager ring by creating CafePress stores for fellow hubbers and encouraging them to market themselves on the big social media spots like HubPages,FaceBook and Twitter.

You can use CafePress to ope a free basic shop and experiment until you have just the right design on just the right products. Don't forget to use the great help files and templates that they offer.
After you have everything the way you want it, you may want to open a Premium shop and make even more money! You won't get rich overnight - unless you design the next hula hoop or pet rock, but you never know. You just might!

Ok so I got my Merlin shirt:) I have ordered 3 shirts and other works of art through Cafe Press. The t- shirts are very thick, wash and wear well. I have gotten every item I ordered on time and it Is very high quality merchandise. I'm really happy with everything I've gottten!

Oh well I hate the mall so I love Cafe Press. No vultures waiting at the door! Besides, I'm a real housewife, I wear t shirts and jeans almost 7 days a week. Doesn't make sense for me to get all fussy about going to the grocery store:)

Should have been here a little sooner but I took a short break away from the computer and writing. I've been slogging on a local history booklet and it was a tight timeline so I managed a little stress.
PS Have I got to come to Texas to sign the copy of your book... or shall I let you read it first ?
Good morning, Merlin. Well, if you make it to Texas, you can certainly sign my laptop. I got all the way to chapter 2 yesterday! So far, so good. I like reading books on the Kindle for PC's. I might have to buy a lighter lap top. This one is about 4 or 5 lbs. Don't ask me to convert that to metric. I can do it, but I'm too lazy.
I can't wait to see what's on the video!

AustinStar, as soon as I started reading, I'd decided to ask if you had opened one for Stan the Man! You know us too well, so let us know! Smart, smart, smart! May have to check out non-paranormal stuff by Merlin, cause like your take on stuff. No into that. Ooh, I gotta comment/add to the rant on supermarkets--how does it grab you to see in great big ltrs/#'s (can't dup here) Sale/etc. and it's 3 cents less? Kid you not! I was---. Very informative hub. Must check. Thnx
